Wolferstans' Clients Benefit after Firm-Wide

WinScribe Digital Dictation Roll Out

London, 13 June 2006 – Plymouth based law firm Wolferstans has cut document backlogs and subsequently improved client service after rolling out the WinScribe digital dictation system firm-wide. The system, which was first piloted in Wolferstans’ Family Law department, is part of a solution provided by SRC, WinScribe’s exclusive UK Platinum Partner.

Philip Thorneycroft, Head of Wolferstans’ Family Law practice said, “With our previous tape system we were experiencing significant backlogs of work, which meant that we were struggling to achieve the high-levels of client service that we aim to provide.”

Wolferstans’ fee earners now use Philips SpeechMike II Pro devices to dictate when in the office and Olympus DS-4000 handheld recorders for flexible dictation when working away from the office. Fee earners have commented that the solution has made them much less reliant on individual secretaries while having very little impact on their daily working practices.
